My Dear Son Kirtiraja dasa and Daughter Haripuja dasi:

Please accept my blessings. I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated April 12, 1973 with enclosed daksina of $100.00.

I am very pleased with your activities, how you are leading householder life, Krishna conscious. This ideal I want to show your countrymen is only possible on the Krishna conscious platform. You remain steady on this platform, and this will be your benefit.

You are one of the trusted managers of the New York temple, and I am very much glad to see that the standard of temple activities is so nice. So Krishna has given you American intelligence, and I think this New York City is the greatest city in the world.

So all you managers cooperate together and do something gorgeous. That is my instruction to you, and if you can do it Krishna will be very much pleased with you.

I hope this meets you both in good health.

Your ever well wisher,
A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami

When I was there last there was one boy who was for making dolls. I want to know how the samples are coming out, if they are nice. Can he teach our students how to do this art?

If so, our men can go there and learn, or should he be sent here to USA? Please write to me in this regard at L.A.

I hope this meets you in good health.

Your ever well wisher,

My Dear Pusta Krsna Maharaja:

Please accept my blessings. I have been informed of the situation of the South African program by Brahmananda Swami who is here with me now as personal secretary, and I want to send you there. There is one boy there Ksudhi Dasa who is very young boy, so I want you to go there to take charge of the preaching program there in Durban.

One Mr. Parekh of the Hindu Mandal has written me inviting me to go there and they will pay all the tickets. q 750615 750615 So I want to go there from London on my return to India, and I can stop there. So you go there and make all the arrangements and inform me accordingly and I can come.

You can correspond with Ksudhi Dasa Brahmacari at the following address: c/o Popatlal Kara, 201 Gray St., Durban, South Africa, for getting the visas. It will be easier for you to go from London.

My Dear Satsvarupa Maharaja:

Please accept my blessings. I am in due receipt of your letter dated April 8, 1973.

Now I am concerned that the Gurukula experiment should come out nicely. These children are the future hope of our Society, so it is a very important matter how we are training them in Krishna consciousness from the very childhood.

It was yourself who started this idea and it has been progressing nicely. Now you see that it continues to develop. So you should go there and inform me what is the position.

I hope this meets you in good health.

Your ever well wisher,
A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami

P.S. The simple method I have introduced, namely learn English and Sanskrit, is sufficient. Why the so-called Montessori method (P.S. handwritten)

My dear Spiritual Sons,

Please accept my blessings. As you have been recommended by Chakravarty Das for initiation, I beg to accept you both as my disciples. Now I have named you Nikhilananda Das for Niko, and Vaidyanath Das for Erland. So you now chant Hare Krishna mantra on your beads at least 16 rounds daily and try to commit any offence against the holy name.

In this way you will get spiritual strength for preaching the glories of the holy name to the people. Another thing is that you should follow our the four rules of no intoxication, no illicit sex life, no meat fish, or eggs, and no gambling. This will keep you fit.

I hope this meets you in best of health.

Your ever well-wisher,
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami

My dear Sudama,

Please accept my blessings. Am in due receipt of your letter dated 4/6/73.
I am still in New York, but if the climate is not suitable, I may be going to Los Angeles very soon.

Your program for traveling on the West coast holding festivals at schools and communes is approved by me. Especially you must try to convince these students to join us. There is nothing else that will save the world from destruction and it is our responsibility to recruit these young educated boys and girls before they become spoiled by the degraded conditions of this so-called human society.

Hoping this meets you in good health.

Your ever well-wisher,
A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami
